Team Shambles

The duke of shambles has recently competed in the first round the MR2 series and did alright.  He managed to stay on the track more than some of the other competitiors.  He has created a highlights video which can be found on youtube. This features some great incar footage of the carnage, i mean race.  Expect more updates and a race report soon.

Yes it's true, Team Shambles is going 1:1 scale for 2011.

Team shambles are proud to announce they are now sponsored by the Sham-Bull energy drinks company.  We received our first batch this morning and first impressions are that it tastes just like some other energy drinks on the market.  It definatly has boosted the enthusiasm of the whole team, The duke hasn't slept since this morning and it turned Major shambles hair blonde which almost makes him normal.

Team shambles are attempting another 24 hour race this weekend at York Off Road Car Club 24 hour event.  As per usual we are still completley unprepared for the meeting and a blog will be set up that we ARE going to fill in this time.   Yes that's right we are going to keep the blog up to date so you can follow our shambolic progress, no problems with internet access and no fighting Belgium teenagers off their facebook pages.

Shamcar 1 is being prepped for it's 24 hour debut.  Graham "Blitzboy" Smith has been busy doing the bodyshell for the event and it glows, literally actually!  Now all we need to do is leave it under a light for 24 hours before the race and it will efinatly stand out when the lights are dimmed during the race. More mechanical items need to be done to the car first but they will be done before we leave. Team Shambles can be now followed on twitter.. Thanks to Captain shambles for setting this up although it did take him twelve attempts. The first eleven attempts ended up in a broken link, a bit like his B4 then.

It has been confirmed that Team Shambles will be travelling to Belgium in March to compete in the "24 Heures TT de Charleroi 2010" on the 20th to the 21st of March.  Taking most of the team shambles members and co-opting a few of the OCD team members, Team Shambles hope to give the opposition a good hammering bring back the silverware to the UK.  Look forward to our report on this event when we can be bothered to write it.

This will be the biggest bashing of Belgian oppostion since it's a knockout!!
